The boat - Avontuur
The boat is split over three levels, the top level is open and allows unrestricted views and plenty of seating, the next level is the saloon area which allows formal dinning for up to 145 people all on one floor, and the lower deck has a large dance floor for those of you who like a boogie.

Departure point - Westminster Pier - Arrive at 7pm to board, Departure at 7:30pm
With the event having a formal dress code, we thought you may like a memento of the occasion and have organised for a professional photographer to take pictures as you arrive at Westminster pier and whilst boarding the boat. Once you board the boat you will be greeted with a glass of wine or orange juice and directed to take your seats in the saloon area.
Once we are all aboard the boat will cruise the Thames providing a lovely backdrop to the evening, which is especially appropriate for a London-based choir. You can see the route we will take below.

On Board
We will enjoy a hot buffet, which caters for meat eaters and vegetarians alike; there will even be some dairy-free food. During the evening we will have the obligatory speeches, awards, singing and cake, rounding it all off with dancing in the lower deck courtesy of the DJ provided by the venue.
For those of you who prefer a less frenetic evening you can enjoy drinks in the saloon or on the open-air deck. I did consider the smokers who, although they cannot smoke in the enclosed areas of the boat, will be able to smoke on the open-air deck. We have sole hire of the boat, which has a fully stocked bar with prices a little cheaper than club prices: £1 soft drinks, £2 J20, £3 Beer, £3 spirit & mixer, a bottle of wine from £14.

Disembark - Westminster at 11.30pm
Our evening will end back at Westminster pier at around 11.30pm to allow those people who are not going onto a club to catch tubes and trains home.

Although this is a formal event you do not need to bring a guest with you, nor do men have to wear tuxes and women dresses we are a gay and lesbian choir after all. The dress code for the ball is formal and we would love to see people in black tie, but we realise not everybody has a tux in the wardrobe. All participants must be smarty dressed and no one should wear jeans, t-shirts, trainers or cords.
