    Pink Singers

    Who Are We?

    We are a subgroup of the Pink Singers who are called upon to perform on occasions when the a larger choir may not be appropriate. Although the small group has the same repertoire as the main choir, we also sing additional event-specific songs. The small group is also a testing ground for new pieces which may make it to the larger choir.

    Who Can Join?

    Any Pink Singer is very welcome to join the small group. There are many reasons why you might want to!

    Can't get enough music?
    If you are already singing in the main choir but are not feeling musically challenged enough, come along to the small group for even more music and acapella vocals.

    Can't commit to the larger choir?
    If you are thinking of stepping out for a season because of the heavy demands of the main choir, you might want to come along to the small group. On average our regular rehearsals demand just one or two hours a month, although, as with the Pink Singers at large, this will go up nearer a performance.

    Feeling a little lost?
    Find your bearings in the more intimate atmosphere of the small group where your voice is always heard (both figuratively and literally!) We're also flexible about where we rehearse - although we also get together in the Royal Academy, we have in the past met in member's homes.

    How Do I Join?

    If you are singing in the current season, have a look at your choir timetable which will tell you when the small group rehearsals happen. Usually, they take place in the hour before a main choir rehearsal.
