How Do I Register For A Yahoo! ID?

If you are a complete novice, you are advised to open a second broswer window so that you can swap back to this window as you go along.
Each step has an associated picture, click on each to get a bigger view of what you should be seeing, and look out for the pink indicators which highlight important features.

Step 1: Surf to the Yahoo Groups Website and sign up for a Yahoo! ID

Click on to get to the Yahoo! Groups website.
Look for "Don't Have A Yahoo! ID? Signing Up Is Easy".
Click on "Sign Up".

Step 2: Fill in the registration form

Fill in all the boxes on the registration page.
Please remember your password.
Read the Terms of Service and click on "I agree".

Step 3: Registration is complete, note your Yahoo! ID

Please remember your security details.
You are now ready to join one of the Pink Singers groups!

How Do I Join A Pink Singers Yahoo! Group?

Step 1: Select a Pink Singers Yahoo! Group

Step 2: Join the Yahoo! Group

This is the pinkies Yahoo! Group home page.
To join this group click on the Join This Group button.

Step 3: Complete and submit the application form

Fill in the application form.
It is imperative that you fill in your real identity in the Comment to Owner section if this does not correspond to your email address. This is to enable us to know who you are!
When this is done click the "Join" button.

Step 4: Wait for approval!

The difficult bit is done! Now all you need to do is sit back and wait for one of us to clear the application.
This doesn't normally take too long, but give me a poke if you don't get a reply by the next rehearsal.

Step 5: Check your Yahoo! Mail for confirmation

After you've given us a chance to register your application, check to see whether or not we've replied.
Log back in using the same Yahoo! ID and password which you generated earlier.

Step 6: Open up your inbox

The mail page should show you whether you have any new mail in your inbox.
Click on your inbox to show you what you have received.

Step 7: Open the approval email

Look for the email which confirms that the request to join our egroup is approved.
Click on it to read the email.

Step 8: Read the approval email

Read the email which gives you some help regarding what you can do now that you are a member.
Click on the link to the pinkies Yahoo! group to visit us.

Step 9: Welcome to the pinkies Yahoo! Group!

Congratulations! You have now officially registed and have access to the pinkies Yahoo! Group.
Have a look around and check back for updates!

The next time you log in to Yahoo Groups! you will be taken to the page of all your groups.
Click on the pinkies logo to enter!
