Pride 2015Become an official supporter of the Pink Singers to receive exclusive info and behind the scenes extras!

We’re a charitable bunch – we would love to continue using our musical skills to help promote positive attitudes towards the LGBT community. In order to do that, we need your help! Could you become an official supporter? See the options below – and we promise to give you some pinkie goodness in return!

Why would we like your support?

There are two main reasons we’re launching our Friends scheme.

  1. To provide support to our oppressed LGBT friends overseas

We are lucky that LGBT people enjoy essentially the same legal status as everyone else in the UK.  It’s vital that we continue to promote equality to support friends and communities in countries where the same rights don’t exist.

Last year Rainbows Across Borders came to visit us in rehearsal and we formed a close bond with this group of LGBT asylum seekers. We would love to do more community and outreach projects like this, both at home and overseas.

A small group of Pinkies had a very successful trip to Taiwan in October for Asia’s first LGBT choral festival – we aim help all more of our members be involved in similar projects in the future, including a planned trip to promote LGBT equality in India in 2017.

We also had a very successful trip to Malta in 2009 where we promoted social equality through music and doubled the size of the local Pride march.

2. To participate in more special events and help support local LGBT charities in London

We would like to be able to participate in more special events throughout the year, in addition to our two main concerts. We performed at the EY Foundation charity auction in October and also are forging strong links with our two nominated charities: Diversity Role Models and the Albert Kennedy Trust, who we’ve been raising funds for this year through our new album.

With your help we would love to arrange our own workshop days, learning from, for example, this successful workshop at the Southbank Centre – to support members of our community closer to home.

We would love to continue taking part in projects and developing our own – and with your help, we can do more. So why not have a look at the options below?
