About The Pink Singers
The Pink Singers were formed in 1983. Now a registered charity, the choir exists to share the love and appreciation of music among the LGBTQ+ community and to promote equality and raise awareness of LGBTQ+ issues in wider society. They perform regularly at London’s Cadogan Hall, and in other venues across the UK and overseas.
They perform a broad repertoire of music including classical, pop and musical theatre, often with choreography. Many of their musical arrangements are created by their own members.
During the covid lockdown, they formed a virtual choir to create a performance of Coldplay’s Fix You. A podcast telling the Pink Singers’ 40-year story of singing and activism, Sing It Pink, has been nominated for best history series in this year’s British Podcast Awards.
